Las Fallas Festival, Valencia March 2012

31st January 2011
I’m now finalizing the arrangements for a short photography holiday to Valencia, Spain in March 2012. The holiday will take place between the 15th and 19th March, which will be the main 5 days of the ever popular “Las Fallas” festival.

Along with the Tomatina Tomato Fight, Las Fallas is one of the two most famous festivals in Valencia (although Tomatina isn't actually in the city itself). Most festivals in Spain revolve around a particular event - the running of the bulls or the aforementioned food fight and Las Fallas is no different - it is the construction and burning of the Fallas sculptures that draws people to the event. But unlike many festivals in Spain, there is so much more to see and do at the Las Fallas festival.

There will also be plenty of time allowed to take in and photograph some of the other amazing sites that Valencia has to offer. This will include the L'Oceanographic, City of Art and the famous Science Museum amongst others.

As with all my photography workshops and holidays, I will be on hand throughout to provide photography tuition to those who require it. I'm also happy to give one to one help and advice to those who wish to expand their photography skills during this short holiday.

This event is always extremley popular and 2012 will be no different. There will be 6 places available for this photography holiday, which I expect will sell fast.

If you are interested in joining me in Valencia, please subscribe to my newsletter. You will then be informed of when the trip is open for booking a few days before it goes on general sale via my website.
